Maps I made for Shogun 2
WW2-Map_Next to the mountains
Plane Landscapes with mountains on the left side. There are trenches and protective walls where you can line up your units. It's a little bit bleak so you can feel how ugly it was in WW2.
This is my first Shogun 2 Map I made with the TED. Trenches and walls fill the landscapes. When you want to play a little bit tactical I recommend to play this map.
Pirates of the Caribbean - Tortuga
Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124310151This is the island Tortuga of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. It's a naval battel and when you change the mode to night there is the glow of hunderets of fires on the island. Then you feel like in the movie. Also there are sandbars so you must be careful not to run aground.
After the WW2 Map I wanted to make a second map. On this moment I could do more with the programm and I wanted to make a Map which is more difficult to build and which remains in memory of the player, because it's a location of a famous movie or book. So I decided to make Tortuga, because there are much more "land-battle" maps in the Workshop than "naval-battle" maps and I think naval-battles are very cool, too.
Minas Morgul [Lord of the Rings]
Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=159875207This is Minas Morgul in middle-earth at the edge of Mordor. There lives the wichking of Angmar, a dangerous enemy of Gandalf. In this map you can feel like being in middle-earth and you can decide if you want to follow Sauron or the good side.
Now I made two maps: one naval and one land. With this map I would dare to try to design a siege map. I informed myself in the internet, because to build a siege map is very difficult. But I could finish my work and this is the map which arised: Minas Morgul.
Erebor [The Hobbit - An unexpected journey]
Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=161648647Here is the new expected map: Erebor! It isn't from "Lord of the Rings" but it's from "The Hobbit". You can defend or attack the rich dwarf-castle. In front of the castle is also Dale, a town with human inhabitants.
After making Minas Morgul the players wanted another "Lord of the Rings" - Map. So I thought about it and decided to make Erebor. I oriented myself to the pictures of "The Hobbit - An unexpected journey" and tried to design the map most realistic.
Rivers and ONE bridge
Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=163349295Rivers and only one bridge. Much people die when the battle is on this terrain. (The original made by "Inquisitor Overlord" Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=117337506 -- thanks to him)
I made this map with the pattern "Inquisitor Overlord". He made a map with a river and two bridges over it. And then one player asked me if I can change the map so there is only one bridge. Hereupon I changed the original to "Rivers and ONE bridge".
